Do Good.com
(Galatians
6:9-10) We have started a new website for
Christian
businesses to let you know of their services.
Formally we call it:
Arlo's Do Good List.
These are primarily businesses in the Minneapolis/St Paul
area for now, however will expand to other
cities as well. These businesses support the local church and
Christian organizations by giving a portion of
their profits back to the Lord.
Please support them. Why use the
services of someone you don't know on the
internet when you have access to Christian
businesses that support your local church,
missions and various ministries.
You can find this list on our website
under
DO GOOD
or on a
new website at
www.arlosdogoodlist.com.
WOLOgoHO Retreat Center
 Located in the James River
Valley in central South
Dakota you will find our retreat center
dedicated to both the headquarters of WOLOgoHO
but also a place of retreat for missionaries
from foreign countries as well as those leaving
from the U.S. or returning for a furlough. Obviously
it is need of painting and some cosmetic work
but it is a beautiful house with so much
potential.
If the Lord lays it upon your heart to support
this center, it would be greatly appreciated. |

"I Am So Embarrassed !"
I don't embarrass easily. Just ask
my wife and family. They know.
After all, I am a German and finesse is not my
strong suit. However, the other day I was sitting in my very
comfortable living room and began thinking about
how the Lord has blessed me. I
thought about the nice house I have and of the new car I drive.
It's not a Mercedes,
but a nice sedan nevertheless.
Also about the opportunities I have to go
out to eat and to have nice creature comforts.
The more I thought about it the more embarrassed
I became. Because I started to
think of how little I really give back to the
Lord. 10%? Sometimes it is less than
that. Actually now that I think about it,
often it is quite a bit less. In Luke
6:38 it says, " give and it will be given to
you; good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, running over, will be put into your
lap. For the measure you give will
be the measure you get back" .
I wonder why my lap is so
empty? Is yours as empty as mine? |

UBEX - A "Return to Antioch"
There is a exciting new
project developing in Ukraine called “Return to
Antioch Project.” Antioch was the city to which the first
missionaries were sent, but is now located in
the part of the world that needs missionaries
the most. The goal of this project is to send
missionaries to the Middle East, North Africa,
and South Asia, and therefore return to Antioch
bearing the good news of Jesus Christ.
The
International Bible Institute of Ukraine (IBIU)
was specifically designed to train Ukrainian
missionaries for this project and is overseen by
the Ukrainian Union of Evangelical
Christian-Baptists. Two training programs are
available within IBIU and are open to American
and Ukrainian students and both take place
during the summer.
1) “UBEX” (Ukraine Bible
Extension) is a one- semester program in
partnership with Master’s College in CA, where
American students are invited to come to Ukraine
for 12-15 weeks to gain valuable missionary
experience and training. The students will
receive 12-18 credits for this course.
2) IBIU
“Bachelor of International Ministry” is open to
both Ukrainian and American students and
balances on –field missionary training with
classroom setting training. It is 4-year, 136
credit bachelor degree program that is 25% of
the cost of American college programs and is
committed to fully equipping missionaries to
return to Antioch and beyond.
