We will be working with Latvians teaching them the sport of softball.  It will also involve opportunities to witness.  There will also be opportunities to use various other talents to share the gospel of Christ and also the opportunity to teach English as a second language.  

LATVIA MISSION PROJECT – Jun 14-Jun 28, 2008 – TRIP SCHEDULE

OVERVIEW –

While in Latvia , we will be involved in teaching softball to Latvians as well as being involved in evangelism, using our talents and in teaching ESL courses.    

Day 1   -  Jun 13           Travel to Riga , Latvia    

Day 2   -  Jun 14           Arrive in Riga

Day 3   -  Jun 15           Day to get acquainted

Day 4   -  Jun 16           Teach softball in Riga

Day 5   -  Jun 17           Teach softball in Riga , play a game with the locals

Day 6   -  Jun 18           Teach softball in Riga , play a game with the locals

Day 7   -  Jun 19           Teach softball in Riga , play a game with the locals

Day 8   -  Jun 20            Day to tour Riga and the local area

Day 9   -  Jun 21            Attend church with local Christians

Day 10 -  Jun 22            Travel to Liepaja , teach softball

Day 11 -  Jun 23             Teach softball in Liepaja , play a game with the locals

Day 12 – Jun 24             Play a game in Liepaja .   Tour Liepaja area in the afternoon.

Day 13 – Jun 25             Travel to Daugavdils, teach softball 

Day 14 – Jun 26              Teach softball in Daugavdils, play a game with the locals

Day 15 – Jun 27              Return to Riga and back home to the U.S.
